About this job
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic intern to gain first-hand insights in a range of science & technology policies and get a thorough introduction to various social sciences methodologies.
Your profile
Applicants suitable for this position should have:
- Recently finalised university education (master) or a student currently in the last year of a Master programme, preferably in either economics, mathematics or applied statistics;
- Relevant skills in data treatment & analysis and coding (e.g. Python, R)
- Acquainted with qualitative research methods (e.g. literature review, desk research, interviews, case studies, surveys);
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point;
- Interest in the developments in European Commission policies, in particular in science, technology and innovation;
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Willingness to learn about new topics and methods, and gain new skills.
The following will be considered as a plus:
- Proficiency in other languages;
- Use of specific software (e.g. PowerBI, Atlas.ti etc.).
