Technopolis Ltd (UK) are looking to recruit analysts to join our team at Technopolis.
The team at Technopolis works across a wide variety of policy areas including science and innovation, digital, research, enterprise, education, green economy, health and life sciences and development. You will be working to support project managers across all our thematic areas, to deliver studies, evaluations and impact assessments.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the success of our work on policy studies and evaluation within the context of advances in the state of the art and evolving government guidelines for evidence-based policy and evaluation.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated quantitative and/or qualitative analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work effectively as a member of multidisciplinary teams, and a strong commitment to our core values of quality and integrity.

About this job

The UK team of 50 consultants is continuing to expand in its core business areas of science, technology and innovation, digital, health, green economy and higher education, while also growing in several new policy domains.

We are looking to recruit analysts who can support the delivery of our projects across our core business areas.

Your profile

We are looking for an entry level analyst, either straight from your Masters’ degree or with up to 2 years of relevant work experience in a consulting environment or experience in government departments and their related agencies. We would like the candidates to understand the policy environment and have knowledge of UK and/or EU policy related topics aligned to one or more of our core areas of business.

More specifically, you must have:

An academic background in a relevant subject at Masters level or above
An affinity with one or more of the policy areas in which we work and knowledge of current developments in the field
A good command of qualitative and / or quantitative evaluation methods
Highly computer literate (e.g. MS Office, statistics packages)
The ability to write well and to a professional standard, in English.
Self-motivation, intellectual curiosity and an ability to work independently and across different disciplines
A willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary, international teams

Other desirable attributes:

Proficiency in using statistical analysis software
Ability to prioritise and multi-task, and work under strict deadlines
Client relationship skills
Excellent oral communication skills

The position would be full time with the potential for some level of flexible working.

This will be a permanent position, following the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period

Your responsibilities

Duties

Support project managers at part of a team
Design of data collection tools
Collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
Apply key results from analysis
Contribute to writing of study reports
Support peers in their delivery of work
Ensure individual assignments are delivered to plan
