About this job
We are seeking a consultant in the fields of Research & Innovation and Education & skills, to join our dynamic Brussels team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our portfolio of strategic studies and evaluations, using a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. As part of a growing team of 50 colleagues, your work will primarily on EU policies in areas related to education and skills, as well as research and innovation. You will play a key role in project delivery, from supporting the design of robust methodologies to contributing to high-quality reports. You will contribute to the development of our talented team of analysts, fostering growth and excellence. You will also take part in our business development endeavours in those thematic fields, under the guidance of your senior colleagues.
Your profile
Applicants suitable for this Consultant position should have:
- Three to five years (3-5) of professional experience in contributing to strategic studies and evaluations, with a solid understanding of EU policies. Experience in the fields of research and innovation and/or education and skills is preferred, although a keen interest in these areas may also be suitable for the right candidate.
- Coordination skills, including the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, with an interest in supporting and growing project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise evidence-based reports and deliver engaging presentations.
- Good analytical skills, with the ability to conduct rigorous studies and draw insightful conclusions from data.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team from diverse backgrounds, and able to deliver tasks under tight deadlines, with a problem-solving mindset.
- A previous experience working in a consultancy firm is preferable.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English is essential and fluency in other European languages is considered an asset.
