Your profile
Applicants for the Project Officer position should have at least three years of substantial experience supporting projects funded by EU programmes such as Horizon Europe or Digital Europe ...., along with a solid understanding of participation rules and relevant funding mechanisms.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational and planning abilities, including advanced proficiency in Excel. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, who thrives in collaborative environments, is proactive, committed, forward-thinking, and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
An excellent command of spoken and written English is essential, while proficiency in additional European languages will be considered an asset.
Your responsibilities
The Project Officer will play a key role across the full project lifecycle, from proposal preparation to implementation and reporting. Core responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative and coordination support during proposal development.
- Following up on contractual matters (incl. financial reporting) with project partners and external experts, under the guidance of the project manager and operations manager.
- Monitoring administrative deadlines and ensuring all reporting requirements are met.
- Acting as the primary contact point for all parties involved ( managing help-desk e-mails, dispatching enquiries)
- Tracking the timely delivery of the project outputs, keeping the project manager regularly informed, and following up with all parties involved.
- Maintaining project workspaces on Teams/SharePoint, including document filing and access management.
- Managing project expenses and supporting project and operations manager with financial reporting tasks.
- Assisting with project-related activities such as data collection, maintaining mailing lists, etc.
- Supporting the organisation of events and meetings.
- Preparing minutes for team and project-related meetings
